Photo Guide

Every Motosequel print begins with your photo, the foundation for a design that captures your machine at its best. To help our artists create a flawless custom poster, follow the guidelines below. If your photo isn’t quite right, don’t worry. Our team reviews every image and will reach out with suggestions before production.

How to Get the Best Results

1. Choose your best angle
Pick the photo that truly shows off your car or bike’s personality. Side, front, rear, or three-quarter views all work perfectly. Just make sure the angle feels balanced and natural. Our artists will match that exact perspective in your final artwork, and if we think a different shot would look even better, we’ll let you know.

2. Focus on lighting
Good lighting brings your vehicle to life. For outdoor shots, use soft daylight to highlight every line and contour while avoiding harsh shadows or nighttime photos. If you’re shooting indoors or in a garage, turn on as many lights as possible so the details are clear and evenly lit.

3. Keep it high quality
Use a recent smartphone or DSLR camera for sharp, detailed results. Upload an image that’s at least 2000 pixels wide for the best outcome. Avoid screenshots, cropped photos, or images downloaded from social media, as they often lose resolution and clarity.

4. Capture the full view
Make sure your entire vehicle is visible in the frame without anything blocking it. Try to avoid cluttered backgrounds, other cars, or deep shadows that hide details. Keep the vehicle centered and evenly positioned in the shot.

5. Go natural, no filters
Our artwork is designed to reflect your vehicle’s true look and color. Filters, heavy edits, or oversaturated effects can distort that. Stick with a clean, unedited photo for the most authentic and accurate result.

6. Accepted file types
We accept JPG, PNG, and HEIC files. Avoid using screenshots or compressed versions, as they can reduce image quality.

7. Background tips
A clean, simple background helps our artists capture your vehicle more accurately. If your background is busy, don’t worry. Our design team will simplify or recreate it as part of the final artwork.

8. What happens next
Once your photo is uploaded, our designers review it to ensure it meets our quality standards. If adjustments are needed, we’ll contact you before production to make sure you get the best possible result.

9. Common issues to avoid
Blurry photos, heavy shadows, reflections, or cropped edges can affect the quality of your print. Take a moment to review your image before submitting it.
